Flohmarkt Rotersand Bremerhaven

Bremerhaven's largest and oldest flea market starts the season with new offers. In addition to the more than 300 sales stalls, there will now be a special thematic focus at Rotensand. With the tram café in the hall and some surprises for visitors, the flea market is also intended to be attractive for guests looking for a nice excursion destination. "We have so much more to see here than in some museums," says operator Klaus Jochimsen, referring to the market hall and its numerous unsellable curiosities and treasures.

This year, the Rotersand flea market will also use the parking spaces of the neighboring Aktiv-Markt instead of the discount store parking lot, with whose owner Jens Knauer Jochimsen has been working well with for a long time. A lot has also happened in the flea market hall itself: In the autumn of 2015, Jochimsen received the last preserved Bremerhaven tram from the BVV transport company as a permanent loan. He has also set up a small museum corner with memorabilia from the North German Lloyd. Klaus Jochimsen's next major project is to create a fishing port corner with various exhibits.

Many themed days invite you to stroll and browse this year. Every Saturday and Sunday, there is also the popular flea market breakfast for a small amount of money.
